hello jen. i have been thinking about this since i watched your video yesterday. so i decided that i am going to escort my critical voice out of my art space and take it outside. i will write down those thoughts on an old wood board that sits outside. i might paint over it when it is covered with writings. that is the place i made for my critical voice. thank you for this post and video. see you at the end of the month!

I. LOVE. THIS!!! I am going to make a special place to post those crazy inner-critic-thoughts & include a picture of Statler & Waldorf - 1st thing tomorrow! Thanks for the inspiration . . . this is going to be great.

I've been pondering my critic ever since I first watched this ... for some reason, Nellie Olson from Little House on the Prairie immediately came to mind and I haven't been able to shake her! Wow, time to mess up those perfectly curled ponytails and knock her off her high horse! Just call me Half Pint.
