"Jen Lee is a pioneer. She answers a call to search more deeply, to resolve questions with truth and integrity. And--lucky for us all--she shares what she learns from her journey through teaching and storytelling so that we can gain more clarity around what is calling us and how to explore that unknown terrain with confidence and courage."

"Here's the magic about Jen Lee: No matter how deeply I think I've gone into a topic, Jen can always take me deeper. Just when I think I have something figured out, she asks a question or offers a thought that gives me a new perspective and shows me what I was missing. I live a richer creative life because of her wisdom."  --Jenna McGuiggan, The Word Cellar

mend

Diana Instant+Here are a few thoughts about choosing a word of the year, and the game I'm playing this week.  I'll confess that I can't play the mending game without hearing this song in my head.

Let me know if you're playing along.

I've got a coat that needs mending - and a button to sew on my husband's coat. Thanks for your games and inspiration, Jen. Good luck with the darning!

First, the sound of little people melts my heart, especially now that mine don't sound like that anymore.

Your 'game' themes are great.
They're not 'working' for me in the sense that I'm 'accomplishing' anything,
but they do have me sitting quietly, listening, considering,
(I need as much practice as I can get)
telling myself stories about why I'm not participating if it's such a good idea,
(this I'm really good at!)
challenging the story, facing and holding the resistance
(more growth areas!)
and appreciating the gift from a generous soul
(I hope I never run out of opportunities)
which must be what I need right now.

So...I thank you for that...and your community of commentors, too
