"Jen Lee is a pioneer. She answers a call to search more deeply, to resolve questions with truth and integrity. And--lucky for us all--she shares what she learns from her journey through teaching and storytelling so that we can gain more clarity around what is calling us and how to explore that unknown terrain with confidence and courage."

"Here's the magic about Jen Lee: No matter how deeply I think I've gone into a topic, Jen can always take me deeper. Just when I think I have something figured out, she asks a question or offers a thought that gives me a new perspective and shows me what I was missing. I live a richer creative life because of her wisdom."  --Jenna McGuiggan, The Word Cellar

What Love Looks Like

With Jen Gray, photo by Jen LemenListening to your new work in its baby phase and saying, Yes, it will be good.

Giving you her full range--from silly to sacred--and being just what you need in the moment.

Walking and searching for just the right food for breakfast. Understanding the importance of good atmosphere.

Sitting on the bed and talking late at night.

Sitting on the bed and talking early in the morning.

Getting through winter together.

Seeing you in a way that makes your existence feel more real.

Meeting you in whatever place you are. Every single time.

What does love look like, to you?

right now, love is:
being seen and accepted as i am.
being able to make mistakes and still know that i am loved.

love is:
being able to be just who you are and accepted for that
love is bringing someone their favourite comfort food when they are sick
love is being present, truly present.

love is profound, soul-stirring
a growing feeling for someone
it is fragile, yet stronger than anything
it is warmth and comfort
love is real, it is present
it is whole

Recently, love is....
*a cup of coffee and sitting on a screened in porch with no hurry to go anywhere, just talking with people I am so grateful for...
*standing strong in my belief in those dear to me and doing whatever I can to encourage blossoming...
*Knowing my car is a mess but letting someone help me load up anyway, because they are offering and I need help (choosing to let go my 'wish there weren't smashed crackers in the backseat worry')...
*friends who don't let go regardless of all the little reasons they could fade away...
*loved ones who don't mind when I call and have nothing to say....

love is trying to learn to love well even when you're not that good at it

My heart sings for you guys. I wish that kind of love and appreciation for everyone, more than anything. What an inspiration you (both) are.
