Integrate: A Voice and Story Retreat in NYC

Only 1 spot left!

Sometimes we feel like a mass of contradictions, or a swirl of inner battles.

We think that recovering our voice will mean we can finally speak up or speak out, or move our pen across a page.  And these things are all true, but they're not the whole story.

Your voice--and your story--are also keys to unlock the parts of yourself you've labelled "no access".

There's a way to stand in the middle with arms outstretched to either side, a way to close the chasm between

your body and mind

your intuition and reason

your courage and your fear.

There's a way to pull all your parts into a strong unison.

Come. We'll begin together.

April 10-13, 2010

The Details:

This three day, three night retreat for women is hosted by Jen Lee and is nestled in the heart of Brooklyn, in a beautiful brownstone bed and breakfast inn.  Built into the schedule are rest and relaxation times, perfect for exploring nearby Grand Army Plaza, Prospect Park, neighborhood shops and boutiques, or for taking a nap.

Group excursions include a session at Jennifer Brilliant's yoga studio and a show on Broadway.

The retreat will be co-facilitated by Phyllis Mathis, co-founder and managing editor of Voca Femina, and ontological coach.

There will be over 12 hours of storytelling, instruction and exercises to integrate the parts you've been missing.

Rooms are shared with shared beds (unless special arrangements are made).  Arrivals are after 2:00pm on Saturday, checkout is 10am on Tuesday.  Meals will be provided except for one meal on Sunday and one on Monday, which will be eaten out as part of the group excursions and paid for individually.

Registration includes a welcome gift, three nights lodging, 12+ hours of storytelling, instruction and exercises, all meals except two, a yoga class and your ticket to a Broadway show. (Broadway show and seats will be best available at the time of your registration--so register early.)  There is only 1 spot left--is it for you?

Dates: Saturday, April 10th--Tuesday, April 13th, 2010

From Squam Art Workshops:
"The one class I took was Storyweaving with Jen Lee. Let me tell you this was hands down the best writing class I have ever taken. This includes all of my undergrad and graduate classes. . . . I think she would make an amazing professor." --Thea Coughlin

"I found Jen to be an excellent instructor - she has the ability to put us at ease and help us feel comfortable with the whole process. Also, she is sensitive and well-tuned to the needs of the students in the class." --Andrew Borloz
